Karnataka matrimony
In Karnataka, Ourpoint is coming to Bengaluru, a city of people who grew up in Kannada and people who arrived from every other state for work. Either way, the old networks of introductions often don't reach far enough. Ourpoint Live evenings will bring verified people from the city you actually live in together for six short chats. Join now so you're verified when the first Bengaluru evening is announced.
Join OurpointOurpoint opens city by city through Live evenings, each with the same number of seats for women and men. Where no date is announced yet, join now so you're verified when the first evening is.
Long commutes and long hours leave little room for scrolling through profiles. Ourpoint asks for one evening: six five-minute chats, each opening with a question for the two of you, and a private yes or no after each. Only a mutual yes is ever shown.
Because Bengaluru brings together people from across India, you'll meet people who grew up speaking Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and more. Language is never a wall unless you make "Speaks my language" one of your non-negotiables.
Ourpoint doesn't ask for caste or sub-community, and there is no filter for it. If your family's background or traditions matter to you, say what you'd like to share in your own words in your interview. Faith, language and home state are handled differently: you can ask for someone of your religion, someone who speaks your language, or someone from your state as one of up to three non-negotiables.
Kannada is the official language of Karnataka. In Bengaluru you'll also hear Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English every day, and members list all the languages they speak.
