ourpoint

How it works

Six chats in an evening. A yes only if it's mutual.

Ourpoint Live is an evening in your city with verified people who are also looking to marry. Five minutes each, one person at a time, a question to start you off. You meet a few people properly instead of many people barely.

Joining, once

  1. Step 1

    The basics

Your first name, birthday, who you'd like to meet, your partner age range, city and languages.

  2. Step 2

    A written interview

About 40 questions, roughly 30 minutes, about how you live, what you want and how you handle disagreement. An AI asks the questions; you write the answers, and you can skip any of them.

  3. Step 3

    How you live

Religion, diet, smoking, drinking, marital history and home state, plus up to three non-negotiables. They work both ways, and nobody can search by them.

  4. Step 4

    Your card and photos

Three of your interview answers make your card. Add at least two photos and a phone number, which is never shown.

  5. Step 5

    Verification by a person

Your government ID is checked against a live selfie by someone on our team, not a bot. ID photos are deleted 30 days after the check. Every member is 21 or over.

An evening on Ourpoint Live

  1. Any time before

    Book a seat

Pick an evening in your city. Each one has an age band and seats split evenly between women and men. Booking is free. If your side is full, you go on the waitlist.

  2. The day before, and an hour before

    A reminder

We email you the day before and again an hour before. The room opens an hour early, so you can settle in.

  3. The evening

    Six chats, five minutes each

One person at a time, live, in text. Each chat opens with a question for the two of you, so nobody wonders what to say. You see their first name, age, a line about how they live and the three answers on their card. No photos yet.

  4. After each chat

    Yes or no, privately

Decide about each person on your own. Nobody learns who said no.

  5. End of the evening

    Mutual yeses are shown

Only when you both said yes. Photos are seen once you're matched.

  6. After a mutual yes

    A conversation opens

Either of you can open an ordinary Ourpoint conversation, and accepting is free. If they decline, or don't answer within three days, you get it back. Swap numbers in the conversation whenever you both choose to.

The first evening is in Kochi on Sunday 15 November 2026 at 9pm IST, for ages 25 to 35. More cities will open the same way, one evening at a time.

Safety in the room

What we'll never do

Joining, verification, your seat and the evening are free. The only thing you pay for is opening a conversation after a mutual yes: ₹199 for one, less in packs. Accepting one is free. See pricing.

Questions

What is an Ourpoint Live evening?+

An evening in your city where you have six five-minute chats with verified people, one person at a time, all live, in text. Each chat opens with a question for the two of you. Afterwards you privately say yes or no to each person, and only mutual yeses are shown, at the end of the evening.

Who will I be paired with?+

Verified members booked into the same evening who fit what you both said: who you'd like to meet, partner age ranges and up to three non-negotiables, all both ways. You're never paired with the same person twice, or with anyone you've blocked.

What do I see in a chat?+

Their first name, age, a line about how they live and the three answers on their card. No photos until it's mutual.

What if I don't want to say yes to anyone?+

Then say no to everyone. Nobody learns who said no, and a one-sided yes is never shown either.

Can I see who else is on Ourpoint?+

No. There's no browsing, no search and no feed. You only meet the people you're paired with in an evening.

Can my family be involved?+

In your own way and time. Ourpoint is just the two of you: nobody else reads your chats or conversations. When it's time for families to meet, that's yours to arrange.

Does the AI talk for me?+

No. It asks the interview questions once, when you join. Every word in a chat or conversation is yours.

Is my phone number shared?+

Never automatically, and never in an evening. Contact details can't be sent in a chat: phone numbers, emails and handles are blocked. Once a conversation is open, either of you can offer to swap numbers, and numbers appear only when you both agree.

What if someone makes me uncomfortable?+

End the chat whenever you like, or report them. A report ends the chat straight away and a person on our team reviews it.

Where is the first evening?+

Kochi, Sunday 15 November 2026, 9pm IST, for ages 25 to 35, with 10 seats each for women and men. More evenings and cities will follow.

Six people worth meeting, in one evening.
