Disclosure: this guide is written by Ourpoint, a marriage app that competes with Shaadi.com. We charge per conversation instead of by membership, so we have an obvious interest. We've tried to be fair: every Shaadi.com price below comes from its own App Store India listing, checked on 29 October 2026, every plan detail comes from Shaadi.com's own pages, and we say plainly where Shaadi.com does things well.

If you've searched for “Shaadi.com membership price”, you've probably noticed that Shaadi.com doesn't make it easy to find. Its membership plans page lists the plan names and what each includes, but no prices. Its help pages say that offers are tailored to your profile and sent by email, phone and SMS. So the price you see after signing in may not be the price someone else sees.

The clearest public figures are the in-app purchases Shaadi.com lists on the App Store in India. That's what we've used here. Treat them as a guide, not a quote: the price on the website, on Android or in an offer made to you can be different.

Shaadi.com plans and prices in 2026

Shaadi.com's plans page names five premium plans: Gold, Gold Plus, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Platinum Plus, with durations of 3, 6 and 12 months. Above these sits a personalised service, VIP Shaadi, with a relationship advisor. Here's what the App Store India listing showed on 29 October 2026, alongside what Shaadi.com says each plan includes.

PlanApp Store India price (29 Oct 2026)Per month, roughlyWhat Shaadi.com says you get
Gold, 3 months₹5,200 or ₹5,900 (both listed)₹1,730 to ₹1,970Connect directly with matches; view detailed profile information
Gold Plus, 3 months₹5,900 or ₹6,900 (both listed)₹1,970 to ₹2,300Gold, plus being featured under Spotlight and a Bold Listing
Gold or Gold Plus with add-ons, 3 months₹5,700 or ₹6,400₹1,900 to ₹2,130The listing doesn't say what the add-ons are
Diamond, 6 months₹6,900₹1,150The same two features as Gold, for twice as long
Diamond Plus and Platinum PlusNot listed on App Store IndiaNot knownGold Plus features; Shaadi.com says these two also let free members see your contact details

A few things stand out from the listing:

  • The same plan appears at more than one price. The 3-month Gold membership shows up at both ₹5,200 and ₹5,900, and 3-month Gold Plus at both ₹5,900 and ₹6,900. The listing doesn't explain why. Our guess is that some are discounted versions, but that's a guess, so check the price on your own screen before paying.
  • Diamond is cheaper per month than Gold. At ₹6,900 for six months, Diamond works out to about ₹1,150 a month, against about ₹1,730 to ₹1,970 for three months of Gold. If you're sure you'll want more than three months, the longer plan costs less per month. If you're not sure, it's more money up front.
  • We couldn't find a public price for Platinum Plus or Diamond Plus. They weren't in the App Store India listing when we checked, and Shaadi.com's website asks you to sign in. We've left those prices out rather than guess.

If you buy on the website instead, Shaadi.com's help pages list debit and credit cards, netbanking, UPI and Paytm, as well as cash or cheque deposits at ICICI or SBI branches.

What the plan names actually mean

Shaadi.com's help pages group the plans into three kinds, which is more useful than the metal names.

Premium (Gold and Diamond)

According to Shaadi.com, a Premium Membership “helps you to directly initiate a conversation with your matches”. It lists unlimited chats, viewing contact numbers and sending SMS, sending a Premium Interest with your contact details, seeing hidden photos and full names, seeing college and employer names, voice and video calls, WhatsApp messages and priority assistance. The difference between Gold and Diamond is mainly how long the membership lasts.

Premium Plus (Gold Plus, Diamond Plus, Platinum Plus)

Everything in Premium, plus double the contact count, being featured at the top of search results and highlighted to matches. On Diamond Plus and Platinum Plus, free members can also see your contact details, which means people who haven't paid can reach you. Whether you want that is worth thinking about before you buy.

Personalised (VIP Shaadi)

A dedicated relationship advisor suggests handpicked matches, asks for your approval and follows up to arrange meetings, with all Premium Plus benefits and an unlimited contact count. Shaadi.com doesn't publish the price, and its help pages say direct EMI is available only on these personalised plans, with credit cards from leading banks.

What you can do for free

Shaadi.com has a free membership, and the app is free to download. The catch is talking to people. Replying to a review on the App Store, Shaadi.com put it simply: “To communicate with member, you need to buy the membership plan.” In practice, most people who want to get anywhere on Shaadi.com end up paying for a plan.

One small note on the plans page: it shows a monthly figure under some plans. Shaadi.com's help pages say this is only “to give you an Idea of how much does it cost you monthly”. You pay the full amount for the plan up front; you can't pay month by month. Standard plans have no EMI from Shaadi.com, though your bank may be able to convert the payment.

The 30-day money-back guarantee, and its conditions

Shaadi.com's App Store description mentions a 30-day money-back guarantee, and this is a genuine point in its favour. But read the conditions on its help page before you count on it:

  • You must send at least 10 interests and receive not a single accept within the first 30 days of becoming a Premium member.
  • It applies only once per profile.
  • It doesn't cover personalised memberships, which means VIP Shaadi.

So the guarantee protects you against getting no response at all, not against getting responses that go nowhere. If one person accepts and then stops replying, the conditions as written wouldn't be met. To claim it, Shaadi.com lists 24x7 chat support, an email form, a phone line (+91-8095031111, 10am to 7pm) and WhatsApp (+91-7715883556).

What Shaadi.com does well

It's easy to be cynical about matrimony site prices, so it's worth saying what you get for the money.

  • A very large pool. The Android app alone has more than 1 crore downloads on Google Play, and the iPhone app has a 4.3 rating from about 1.26 lakh ratings on App Store India. If you're in a smaller town or looking for someone abroad, size matters.
  • Calls without sharing your number. The app offers voice and video calling that, in its own words, lets you “connect securely without revealing your number”. That's a sensible safety feature for early conversations.
  • A money-back guarantee, with the conditions above.
  • Optional selfie verification. A profile with a blue tick has passed a selfie check matched to its profile photo. Shaadi.com's App Store listing also mentions government ID verified profiles. Our guide on how to verify a matrimony profile explains what different badges do and don't prove.

Is Shaadi.com premium worth it?

It depends on how you search, more than on the price itself. Some honest questions to ask yourself:

  • Will you actively send interests and follow up? A membership pays for the right to start conversations. If you're going to log in every few days, send interests and write to people, three months can be plenty. If you'll mostly wait to be contacted, you may pay for months you don't use.
  • Do you need a big national or NRI pool? If your circle is narrow, or you're open to someone in another city or country, Shaadi.com's size is a real advantage.
  • How much do you want to browse? Shaadi.com, like most large matrimony sites, is built around search, filters and daily match lists. Some people like that control. Others find it tiring, and pay for months of scrolling.
  • Would you rather pay only when there's a mutual interest? A membership charges you for time, whether or not anyone you like is interested back. Some newer apps charge only when it's mutual. We compare them in our guide to matrimony apps without a subscription.

A practical tip either way: before paying, spend a week on the free account. Look at how many profiles you'd genuinely want to talk to. If the answer is three or four, a three-month plan is enough to find out. If it's none, a longer plan won't fix that.

How Shaadi.com compares on price

Against its two closest rivals, on App Store India on the same day:

  • BharatMatrimony: Gold ₹5,900 for 3 months or ₹11,900 for 6 months; Platinum ₹9,900 for 3 months or ₹14,900 for 6 months.
  • Jeevansathi: plans from ₹1,699 (Pro Lite) to ₹5,999 (Pro Max+), though the listing doesn't show how long each lasts.

So Shaadi.com's entry plan is similar to BharatMatrimony's and costs more than Jeevansathi's cheapest. Our BharatMatrimony vs Shaadi.com vs Jeevansathi guide goes through all three side by side, and our Shaadi.com alternatives guide covers smaller apps too.

How Ourpoint is different

Ourpoint is a marriage app for people choosing a partner themselves. There's no membership to buy. Joining, the interview, verification, booking a seat and the evening itself are all free. Every member is checked by a person against a live selfie and a government ID before anyone sees their profile, and there's no caste or community filter.

You meet people at Ourpoint Live: evenings in your city with six five-minute text chats with verified people, one at a time, each opening with a question for the two of you. After each chat you privately say yes or no, and only a mutual yes is revealed, at the end of the evening. Only then do you pay, to open a conversation:

OurpointPriceHow it works
1 conversation₹199No subscription and nothing renews
3 conversations₹499Unused conversations never expire
10 conversations₹1,299If they decline, or don't answer in three days, the conversation comes back
25 conversations₹2,499Accepting a conversation is always free

To be fair to Shaadi.com: Ourpoint is new and opens city by city through Live evenings, starting in Kochi, so our pool is far smaller. If you want a large national or NRI pool to search through yourself, Shaadi.com will give you more choice. If you'd rather meet a handful of verified people in one evening and pay only when someone says yes back, Ourpoint may suit you better.

No membership, no renewal. A free seat at a Live evening, and you pay only to open a conversation after a mutual yes, from ₹199.
