How verification works
A selfie and a government ID. An automated pre-check runs first, then a person decides.
Everyone you meet at an Ourpoint Live evening has been verified. You take a selfie and a photo of a government ID. On a computer, you can scan a QR code to take the selfie on your phone.
An automated pre-check compares your selfie, your ID and your main photo, and then a person on our team looks and decides.
- If you're approved, we email you to say what happens next.
- If we can't verify you yet, we email you with a note on what to fix, and you can try again.
- Your ID photo and selfie are deleted 30 days after the decision.
